The Pasay City – UP College of Medicine Urban Community-Based Health Program (Pasay-UP Urban CBHP) aims to address community health issues as well as establish the Pasay CBHP as a model service-learning site founded on the principles of the Declaration of Primary Health Care.
More specifically, our aims are:
To increase the availability of services that promote health through education and primary medical care;
To maximize access to these services through local health systems development, i.e. by enhancing capacities at the family, barangay, local health center and city levels; and
To strengthen UP – Pasay City relationships towards community health development.
